Rainier Square

Branding | Brochure Design

I created a brand identity and brochure design for a soon-to-be developed skyscraper in the heart of downtown Seattle. The tower now standing was designed by famous architect Minoru Yamasaki who is known for designing the Pacific Science Center's arches and the original World Trade Center. The new building that is to be built in the upcoming years will also keep in the style of Yamasaki's famous curve in the building.

The final logo was created (by Steve Andrews) by replicating this unusual shape of the original building and applying that to the new logo, marrying the old tower with the new sister skyscraper. With this in mind, the brochure also pays homage to the famous architect as well as to the time when architectural design was at its peak. I wanted to let the shape speak for itself.
